NocRoom, LLC is a Miami-based company providing hosted PBX, VoIP, dedicated servers, colocation, and IP transit between the four US cities Fremont, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Miami. The company offers premium, high speed, all fiber network to their clients.
Ivan Gonzales, CEO of NocRoom, says that for their offering of IP-based networks they use multiple servers all using virtualization technologies like Proxmox VE where stability is key. "In our setup each task like PBX, emails and file server is handled by its own virtual machine. Those crucial VM data is taking an additional measure and is configured with a highly available cluster, the Proxmox VE High Availability Cluster. Proxmox VE HA Cluster enables the definition of highly available virtual machines. In simple words, if a virtual machine (VM) is configured as HA and the physical host fails, the VM is automatically restarted on one of the remaining Proxmox VE cluster nodes."
"Using the Proxmox technology we could design an offering for IP-based network helping our customers like for example the medical billing company BillNet Solutions to process more than 5000+ calls, 7000 emails and file sharing 1TB of data per day between its two locations. This customer rely on the latest technology for security and to keep all their locations acting as one single office - with over 100 employees this can be a challenge. All data from hosted PBX, emails and file sharing are encrypted in and out of the office network. With the new IP-based networks like hosted PBX, emails and open source software from Proxmox - all working smoothly together - we could help our customer to take advantage."
